09/01/02: This was an amazing adventure that started in the beginning days of hi school. In the year 1999 I and Boy Scouts Troop 609 hiked over fifty to seventy miles and in the next big feet hiked up and climbed to MT Hood's summit to see the amazing view. I could remember the sulfur in the air and the "top of the world" feel to it all. It was amazing and I was apart of it. I will never forget this spectacular event in mu adolescent life. Thank you to all the parents, leaders, and especially my old man for taking me on this trip. It was quite the adventure.
